Customer Reviews
Decent platform for self-learning
The learning interface is great, but the discussion forums are mostly inactive and outdated.
Excellent certification program
Fundamentally changed my approach to professional development. Outstanding quality of education.
Bought a course expecting full access
Bought a course expecting full access as advertised, only to find out afterward that key material wasn't actually included in my plan. When I tried to cancel, the system made it deliberately difficult, and support simply repeated the same scripted response no matter how I explained the situation.
Udemy will trust you to teach, but not to buy a course
Nine years ago, Udemy restricted my ability to purchase courses due to refund activity. Years later, Udemy accepted me as an instructor, allowed me to publish content, and even invited me to provide feedback on improving the instructor experience. When I recently requested a review of the old restriction, I was told the decision was final.
Exceeded all expectations
The best online learning platform on the internet. Extremely well structured and professional.
Purchased a course which didn’t appear
Purchased a course which didn’t appear in my learnings. Cannot get a refund from udemy as there is no human to speak too its all supported by a poor digital interactive system called alex who won’t refund my money
Company offered Udemy
My company offered Udemy as a way for us to have continuing education experiences. Found good classes on there and the video modules were pretty straightforward and easy to find classes and use. I see a lot of comments on the refund side. I didn't have to deal with the financial part since my company paid for our subscription.
In-lesson advertisements for a paid course?!
The courses, I least three ones I'm taking, are fine. Video courses in general are difficult to sit through, and these are no different. My main issue is that there are now advertisements after every single video. This is overly annoying, distracting and absolutely ridiculous for a paid course.
Good content but check billing
A decent program for beginners, though the exercises could use more hands-on practical tasks instead of theory.
Content was OK but the company are underhanded
I took out a personal subscription which met my needs for some time. Unfortunately it is not clear on the website whether or not you retain access to materials if you cancel the subscription early, then no reminders are sent (contrary to UK consumer rights) and the next year is automatically taken from your account.
