Unresponsive customer service
The customer service is so unresponsive, and the AI responses are driving me crazy. This platform has great courses but the customer service is unacceptable.

Free for a week catch web
Not really a learning platform for professionals. Tech service goes through a fairly poor chat box managed by an AI agent, emails are replied the same way.
I'd give 0 stars if I could
I'd give 0 stars if I could! Like many other reviews have mentioned—you see a course you're interested in somewhere else, click through, and sign up. What you aren't told is that you're also signed up to their plus subscription. You get billed after their trial period ends, and by that point it's too late to obtain a refund. Sketchy and deceptive. How can you cancel something you didn't know you were signed up to, until it's too late?
Average support and some bugs
A decent classes for beginners, though the exercises could use more hands-on practical tasks instead of theory.
Avoid Coursera: They will wipe your progress
I am writing this to warn prospective students: think twice before paying for a subscription on Coursera. While the course content itself (specifically the "Foundations of Positive Psychology" course) is excellent, the platform’s reliability and customer support are abysmal. I have been working on this course since early June. I was 83% of the way through, having completed all modules and assessments up to the final section. Upon finishing the remainder of my coursework, I discovered that Coursera had completely wiped out my progress. All that hard work—gone.
No renewal warning
They charge monthly without an warning of renewal. It's impossible to speak with a human as they will only use the AI and no way to get a refund for a service not being used with no renewal warning.
My free trial end even before it should
My free trial end even before it should be because they used US time. When i got charged I immediately contact the support which also was worse he send me one email about policy and he said i am done i will close the case without any respect. What even also make it worse I found out the course which the charge me or mor stilling my money on it was free, i found on google exactly the same with no money .
I had a very disappointing experience
I had a very disappointing experience with Coursera. My subscription was not canceled even after I followed the steps they provided, and I was charged despite having proof that I attempted to cancel on time. When I contacted support, they refused to issue a refund and didn’t acknowledge the evidence I provided. I expected better transparency and customer service from a company of this size. I won’t be using Coursera again.
