Do not fall for Coursera's "Financial Aid" or reduced price applications on Professional Certificates! It is a deceptive business model and a complete financial trap designed to extract as much money from you as possible.They advertise programs (like the Google AI Professional Certificate) as a unified 7-course bundle. However, after you pay for your reduced-price application, you discover that your payment only covers the very first course (Course 1). As soon as you want to move to Course 2, the system hits you with an aggressive paywall, demanding separate additional fees for every single remaining module!

Fundamentally changed my approach to professional development. Outstanding quality of education.

I'd give them zero. This is extortion. They take your money without any communications.

The cloud computing modules are structured logically, and the hands-on practice labs worked fine on my browser without lagging. My only real complaint is that the interface pushes you toward the paid tracks a bit too aggressively with constant pop-ups after every quiz.

Don't waste your time doing optional "With Honors" modules on Coursera. I just found out from support that as of 2025, Coursera actively removed the honors badge from certificates. Their reasoning...

This site is horrible, I canceled my subscription in the trial period and they still charged me. I currently fighting with them to get my money refunded. If not I will ask my amex to reverse the charges.

Useless support team, website functions when it wants to and you have to triple check if a course was canceled, if it wasn't and you still get charged. they'll keep your money, cite policy and will refuse to work with you.
